BIG Changes!

Trey and I have known for a while that we wanted to move, but it is such a big decision! We pray about it, talked about it, and finally we did it...we put our house up for sale! I LOVE our house. I LOVE our neighborhood. We have lived here for four years. We have brought two precious baby girls home to this house. This has been the perfect house for us these past four years. However, we want to be in a different school district and we thought it would be nice to have a playroom for the girls so we are not completely overwhelmed by the toys.

Sooo, here is our house! I took these pictures off of our realtor's website. It has been for sale for two weeks, we have had 11 or 12 showings and one offer (which we did not accept).

It has not been fun having our house on the market with two small kids. Yes, one time someone just showed up and I was so caught off guard I let them in only to realize Ella had gone pee pee in her bathroom and had not flushed! I was SO embarrassed! Yesterday I had one hour to get the girls dressed, fed, vacuum, wipe down the tables, do the dishes and make two beds. When I left I was covered in sweat! I pray it is not on the market long because my sweet husband might kill me because I obsess over the tiniest of messes. We have gotten some great feedback and have two couples very interested so I pray it sells soon.

We are building a new home and it won't be ready until October, so that will be a whole new adventure of probably living in an apartment until it is finished!

Last Day of School

Ella started weekday school at First Baptist Church in September of 2011. Her last day of school was in May. This was the morning of her first day. She was my baby, she was always with me every minute of every day. It was a sad day for me, but I knew she would enjoy it. I had all of the worries, what if she won't nap, what if she won't eat her lunch, what if she hates it.

She was 2 years old and looking at her carrying her backpack and lunch box that weighed her down was almost comical.

Eight months later her backpack isn't near as big on her. I have no more worries because she has loved school and has made some great friends. Her teachers were wonderful and it has been such a sweet experience for her and me.

Her sweet curls are almost gone now and she looks so much older! She is just the sweetest, most thoughtful little girl.

She would tell me everyday about her boyfriend, Jagger, and always told me she played with the boys. Oh no, we are in trouble!!! I love to hear her sing the sweet songs she learns and have enjoyed listening to the new things she learns. I am just so thankful that she goes to school where we also go to church and sees a lot of the same kids and teachers over and over again.

Layla's Birthday Party

We had Layla's birthday party the weekend after her birthday. Ella was so excited all week and told her teacher at school all about it! She is a friend of mine so she would tell me everything Ella would say. Layla's room is turquoise, her newborn pictures and several after she has work turquoise outfits, so I went with turquoise. I was looking for an outfit when Kate posted that she had two of the same outfits and I snatched it up from her, so I didn't even have to shop hard (thanks Kate!!).

I bought tons of blue and yellow candy. These are BIG canisters, so I sent home a lot of candy for each of the kids at the party. I am sure their parents were so happy with me!

I bought this open back frame from Hobby Lobby, spray painted it turquoise and cut down a chalk board to put inside.

I LOVE her cake! Melody  has now made two of Ella's birthday cakes and a baby shower cake for me and she does such a fantastic job! I send her a picture and a flavor and I always get it exactly like I want it and it always tastes soooo good! The only sad part is cutting it, I HATE that!

Layla's smash cake.

I asked my sweet husband to run to the store and get me some yellow flowers. I said daisies or whatever. I have previously told him no carnations, EVER, but he forgot and that is all I had so I used them. I am a flower snob about carnations. I do have an amazing husband that will run to the store to get me flowers though!! =)

Layla's party started at 1:30 and at 2:00 we finally woke her up after everyone ate. She woke up just kind of out of it. Not sad, not happy, just there!

She did finally perk up for her big present, her playhouse from Granny and Papa. She loved it!

Granny and Heath.

My brother may kill me!

Sweet Katie loved the house too. I think one may be in her future.

We let the kids go outside and play and get some energy out. Hunter has the best big smiles.

Me and my sweet birthday girl.

I kind of knew from her attitude that the cake wasn't going to go smoothly, but we tried.

She just kind of starred at it for a while.

So I gave her a taste. Of course Ella had to get a taste too.

Ummm, I'm not so sure about this.

See the finger on the left. Yep, that is Ella. She and Hunter kept coming over and getting finger licks.

Alright Mom, I am done.

Most of the damage done was by Ella, Hunter, and me giving Ella and Hunter bites!

Finally we just let them all dig in.

It was a great birthday party. We are so blessed to have such great families that love our girls and will drive 2-1/2 hours to party for 3 or so hours and then turn around and go home.
