Potty Trained!

Lydia is potty trained! Woo hoo! We only have one baby in diapers now. I deserve very little praise on this one, because this girl basically potty trained herself. She had been telling for months when her diaper was was, she would take it off and throw it in the trash. She loves to be naked. So, the next step was she would be naked all day, ask for a diaper, pee in it and then throw it away.

Almost three months ago we got her a potty. She was completely pee pee potty trained in three days. Poop was a little harder, she still wanted her diaper. Once she went in the potty though she got the hang of it.

We spent a solid week at home basically naked, except at night. She didn't have any accidents. We also noticed she was waking up completely dry too. She picked out some panties at the store, she got Sophia and Doc Mcstuffins.

I mean, look at that little hiney!!

So 100% potty trained by 28 months. I will take it!! I am so proud of her.

Loralei is 5 Months!

(I have fallen a moth behind, because you are 6 months old today, but today we are talking 5 months!)

You are five months old! Not a lot has changes since you were four months old. Other than weight! That is constantly going up! You are at 22 pounds and 24 month pants are required. You can still wear 18 month onesies, but sleepers and pants must be bigger. Those thighs aren't fitting in anything smaller.

Your sleep is still fabulous! You go to sleep at 9, I wake you up at 7 a.m. By 9 you are ready to go back to sleep. You nap for two hours and then you are up until 2 when it is time to go pick up big sisters. You fall asleep in the car and stay asleep until we are home, usually 3:30. You take another evening nap and then repeat.

You are still exclusively breast fed. We will talk foods in a couple of months. YOu have also decided that pacifiers just really aren't your thing. You used to take one for me every now and again, but now you won't at all.

You still aren't rolling over, but you can do tummy time like a pro.

You love your sisters, bath time, snuggles, and chewing on anything. You don't like when Mom leaves the room...that's about it. You truly are the easiest baby we have had.

Ella's 8th Birthday

Ella turned 8 on January 6! I can not believe I have an 8 year old! And what an amazing 8 year old she is! She is the most caring, kind, sweet, loving, affectionate, thoughtful kid there is. She hardly ever complains and help me with her little sisters. She and Layla are best friends, yes they still fight like sisters, but they love each other so much and enjoy everything even more when they share it with each other. And she loves carrying Lydia around and helping her and she dotes on Loralei and loves to sit and hold her. She just has the sweetest heart.

And as an extra birthday surprise, it SNOWED! Yes, Texas snow, but still snow!

Friday was her birthday and we went to Chuck E. Cheese, played all the games, ate pizza and cotton candy. Then we went shopping for her birthday party and home to go to her friend's house for a sleepover. They share a birthday so she was excited to get to spend the night with her friend.

Saturday Trey took Ella and Layla to see Moanna. Ella wanted to have lunch at Gloria's so after the movie we enjoyed a delicious lunch. For her birthday she wanted her best friend to spend the night. I let Layla pick a friend too so she wouldn't annoy the big girls as much.

They decorated a shirt with puff paint and markers to sleep in at night with their matching pajama pants I got them.

My little artist loves to draw.

Once the shirts were done we watched a movies, and ate pizza.
Cake time! My sweet girl asked for a funfetti cake, so I baked her one. Not the prettiest cake, but it was yummy and it was just what she asked for.

And what sleepover would be complete without pie in the face?

Poor Ava got pied twice!

And everyone got pied, but Layla.

Yep, she didn't want to be left out! Yep, she got pied!

Finally time to wind down and play Minecraft on her new Wii U.

We finished off our birthday weekend with a shopping trip to Justice, thanks for the gift card Mom! We completed all of the birthday activities that Ella wanted and had such a great weekend!
