Behind

I have just not been a good blogger lately, so it is time to play catch up because I am Sooo Behind! We will start with three weekends ago. We went to a friend of mines wedding reception. She got married in Santa Fe and had a big reception a couple of weeks later in Wichita. Ella went and hung out for a little while. There was a mariachi band playing and Ella got right in the middle of the empty dance floor and put on a show for everyone! She had the photographer following her around and was the center of attention! That's my girl!! Here we all are dressed up and ready to go.

I love this picture of Ella and my Mom!! Ella looks soooo big! She just LOVES her Granny! Granny had had knee surgery and probably shouldn't have been holding Miss Ella, but Ella only want to be held when she is at Granny and Papa's house. SO cute!

My girl has also been accessorizing her outfits more lately. Specifically with tiaras!!  She now requests bows to be put in her hair almost as soon as she wakes up! I Love it!

Can you get more girlie than this? Wearing a tiara, sucking on a bling-bling paci, carrying her purse and pushing her baby stroller. She was wearing some high heels of mommies while doing all of this, but she ditched the heels.

I might need to buy some trucks and G.I. Joes before it get too out on control!!

This past weekend we were in Wichita yet again for another wedding. Sorry, no pictures from this one. Ella was going to go with us, but silly me left all of her clothes at home hanging on her closet door. Luckily I had put on casual outfit for her to wear home Sunday in my suitcase.

While we were there my Mom and I did a little Fall clothes shopping for Ella and got her some of the cutest things! We also got her a potty!!! Yep, it's about that time. We went to to doctor on Friday and she said if Ella was already telling me when she pee-pee'd and poo-poo'd that she was ready! I just don't know if I am!!

Speaking of the doctor. Ella weighs 28.12 pounds (90th %) and is 35-1/2" Tall (95th %). My big girl!!!

We have also been watching some Yo Gabba Gabba. It has been SO hot outside that it is just too miserable to do anything. She doesn't really like watching many cartoons, except Yo Gabba Gabba and when it comes on she is glued to the TV. She calls it "yo yo yo"! She dances right along with them, does a lot of DJ Lance's hand movements and always says bye and waves to them when it is over. Once day I asked her a question while it was on and she shooshed me! Funnies thing ever! Here she is in a trance watching it!

She is just so much fun and I am so thankful for her. This week has not been a good week for the Calhoun family and she has just given me so many hugs and kisses it just melts my heart! I am so ready for cooler weather so we can get back to going to the park and so she can wear all those new clothes we got her!!
